Hang In There Baby said the poster just above my dentist’s chair. I was 10 and the funny cat dangling from a branch seamed more taunting than anything else. As a tribute I made a zine by the same title.
Here’s the letterforms in their almost finished form for the second Portland Funbook.
Each letter was hand drawn, cut out, and scanned in. Then there was a lot of photoshoping to get it to look clean. The resulting poster could be printed CMYK for maximum pop or in black and white to save on costs.
