Nike Design Innovations
Three times a year Nike markets 10 upcoming shoes to east Asian retailers. Because not all of the countries get all of the shoes, the packets need to fit into a binder so that they can be switched in or out. For Design Innovations ‘07, we needed to come up with a new approach with both the layout and the photo treatment. I thought it would be interesting to see the shoes surrounded by props in front of a projected image of a track, a basketball court, or fi eld. I was able to have a lot of creative control over this project. This was a great learning opportunity as the layout and even key elements of the design were changed several times mid-course due to budget revisions and top-level client decisions.
