A few months out of school, I began working at Wieden+Kennedy as a production artist. The people are great there and they really are the best in the world at what they do. Still, as a production artist, I didn't exactly feel challenged.
The vast majority of it was re-sizing Old Spice ads and laying out pitch books. Needless to say it wasn't that creatively engaging and I didn't have the patience stick with it and hope to become an Art Director. I was impatient! So I only lasted 4 months.
One project I dabbled in was the pitch for the video game, Spore. A few months after I left, I got a phone call to work on the full campaign. And that's what led to this.
